Multi Sports Development Centres
MSDC was started in 2009 by Annalie Melham with the aim of providing varied sports coaching for children of all abilities, including children who were visually impaired or have special needs; and to make all activities a fun experience in a safe environment.
During this time, MSDC has expanded the classes to offer more unusual sports such as: volleyball, curling, baseball, lacrosse, handball, tag rugby, badminton – as well as, golf cricket, tennis and athletics.
Many children have surprised their parents, who thought they would not be ‘team players’, with their increased confidence by taking part, their willingness to try new things and to make new friends.
By popular demand MSDC now has a dance school called Bluebells, where the children learn new dance skills in a variety of activities: Cheer-leading, Street dance, Disney, Bollywood and many more.
The Coaches at MSDC are well qualified in their own discipline and in the welfare and safety of children and all coaches are DBS checked and hold a first aid and Safegurading certificates. Everyone at MSDC is committed to promoting enjoyment in sport and dance, to children of all abilities and backgrounds and to encourage the more gifted to move on to Advanced Clubs and Academies .
We organise Fun days & weekly courses (see holiday courses file for more details) in the school holidays during the year. To enable the children to enhance their skills with some advanced coaching. These courses are held at easily accessible venues throughout the South-East of England.
